The Minister for Foreign Affairs to Systematic: "you have done exceptionally well and brought Danish competencies to the global stage"
Danish Minister for Foreign Affairs Lars Løkke Rasmussen visited Systematic's headquarters to learn about the company's global software solutions and introduce the government's new strategy for supporting Danish exporters worldwide.
"You don't change the world by only trading with your neighbours."
Those were the words of Lars Løkke Rasmussen, Danish Minister for Foreign Affairs and former Prime Minister, during his visit to Systematic's Aarhus headquarters yesterday. The Minister came to learn more about the company's software solutions, with particular focus on its international presence and efforts to strengthen cohesion within the healthcare sector.
He also used the occasion to introduce the government's new action plan for economic diplomacy – a strategy designed to support Danish companies in accessing new markets around the globe.

When Scandinavian values create global revenue

Løkke Rasmussen praised Systematic's international approach, describing how the company transforms core Scandinavian values into solutions that generate revenue globally.
The Minister noted that Danish companies often focus too heavily on familiar markets, with 80% of Danish trade concentrated on the US, EU, and China. Systematic, however, is already making strong progress globally.
"You're doing really well. Last year you had a revenue of €218 million, half of which was exports. This demonstrates how Danish solutions can create value globally," the Minister said.
Leading the Danish defence industry
Speaking about the defence sector's growing importance, Løkke Rasmussen highlighted Systematic's transformational role.
"Systematic is one of the companies helping to lead the Danish defence industry into a new era," he said, describing the company as one that "combines high technology, values, and global outlook."
Economic diplomacy in action

The visit also centred around the government's broader push for economic diplomacy, with the Minister explaining how the aim is to help companies access new markets. This is done through, among other things, more funds for geopolitical counselling and sparring between Danish embassies and Danish companies.
The visit underscored the symbiotic relationship between Danish companies and the country's economic diplomacy efforts.
"I'm here today because I've long wanted to visit Systematic, but also because you are an example of a company that has done exceptionally well and brought Danish competencies to the global stage, delivering software to both the defence industry and the healthcare sector across the world," Lars Løkke Rasmussen concluded.
