Systematic not only made two presentations at the world's largest conference for agile software development. We also got the award for best experience report
22 August 2011
One of Systematic’s employees, Senior Project Manager, Carsten Ruseng Jakobsen has just returned from Agile 2011, the world’s largest agile software conference which took place in Utah, US.
Here, Carsten gave two presentations. The first was focused on our innovative development methods and the considerable customer benefits that follow. He also touched upon our recent experiences with adopting agile methods not only in software projects, but also within management and shared functions.
These days, Systematic gets noticed for our combination of CMMI, Lean and agile development methods such as Scrum – and not least for our efforts to spread the mindset from our software development activities to the whole process of managing the organisation.
The second presentation focused on Systematic’s experience with passing on process optimisations from one to several projects – based on the Lean mindset. In cooperation with one of the pioneer figures in the world of agile software development, Tom Poppendieck from the US, Carsten Ruseng Jacobsen wrote an article on this project. The paper was awarded “Best Experience Report” of the conference.
