Health IT needs to be fast, clear, and easy
An increased development within health IT creates bigger demands for IT solutions at the hospitals. For that reason, Systematic, which, among other things, develops the electronic patient record for every hospital in the Central Denmark Region, works determined by developing clear and solid systems that work in any possible scenario. In a interview with the Danish magazine Magisterbladet, Senior Project Maanger Anne Mette Dekker explains how Systematic work with health IT.
“We develop systems to people whose primary job is very different from IT. It is important for them that the system supports their workflow. They do not need to log in on different systems a thousand times or click around to find the right information. It just has to work. Fast, clear, and easy,” Anne Mette Dekker explains.

More focus on IT security in the future
A widespread cyber-attack that recently hit the British healthcare system and several companies around the world has caused concerns in Denmark regarding the lack of IT security. A new survey involving 500 Danish executives shows that IT security tops the list of the biggest concerns in the Danish business community. For that reason, it is of highest priority the coming year.
That above mentioned appears in a new article from the Danish magazine Magisterbladet, which asked Rune Raunow, Director for Consulting at Systematic, to give his analysis of the situation. Rune Raunow, who has several years of experience within IT security on bigger IT solutions, mentions a lack of software updates, among other things, as the reason for the increasing number of cyber-attacks targeting private and public companies.
