Last year in November, the New Zealand Defence Force (NZDF) announced that the government had approved acquisition of the SitaWare Battle Management System. Hopefully, this is only the beginning of increasing business opportunities in both New Zealand and Australia. Systematic has already established offices in Canberra, Australia, and New Zealand, and the office in New Zealand will soon count two more employees.

“We have four employees and two from our local partner, Eagle Technology, and we are looking for new opportunities in our core businesses such as health care and the public sector. I think we could be competitive within health care, which we have already sold to a hospital in Australia," Michael Holm, CEO of Systematic, says in an interview with Computerworld NZ.

Furthermore, he hopes that the purchase of SitaWare in New Zealand will evoke interest in Australia. 26 armed forces, including the UK, have already purchased SitaWare.
