The IT area experiences increased growth this summer with a growing number of applicants and the creation of more studentships at Danish universities. The IT University in Copenhagen has accepted 24 per cent more students compared to previous year, but the business community needs more and demands even more IT specialists.
One of the companies that needs qualified workforce is Systematic. Despite the employment of 90 new employees this summer, a number of available positions still exists.
“Systematic is growing, but we need more employees – employees with wide professional competences within IT,” Senior Vice President Dorte Gade says in an interview with TV AVISEN.
Estimates from the Danish Business Authority predicts a lack of 19.000 IT specialists in 2030.
