The public sector can increase the use of digitised solutions in different areas. That is the message from The Confederation of Danish Industry (DI) in an article in the magazine DI Business, where Deputy Director General at DI Lars Frelle-Petersen calls for digital correlation between data.

In the article, Systematic is highlighted as a company who is ready with digital solutions for the public sector. The article mentions Systematic’s Task Management System which among others is used by the orderlies at Aalborg University Hospital. Here, smartphones play a crucial role in streamlining workflows and coordinating tasks across orderlies and wards.

Senior Vice President at Systematic Flemming Thomsen suggests in the article that other public authorities can learn from Aalborg University Hospital’s commitment to digitising workflows – and emphasises that a digitisation of workflows across the public sector will save both time and resources.

“Based on our own experiences, we can see that an efficient digitisation can spread to other areas. At Aalborg University Hospital, it turned out that they also experienced improvements in areas, which at first were not even on the drawing board. That, I think, can be utilised even better in the public sector if you think crosswise,” says Flemming Thomsen in the article from DI Business.
