POLICY FOR STAFF WELL-BEING
We want our staff to thrive and enjoy a good balance between their professional and private lives
At Systematic, we want our employees to develop. That is why we consider it so important for them to thrive and grow, and to enjoy abalance between their professional and private lives.
Our policy to promote well-being and reduce absenteeism involves working to retain staff by establishing a socially committed, safe and healthy workplace with a firm emphasis on ensuring that staff thrive and enjoy their work. At the same time, our aim is to ensure active and visible preventative input from the management.
Through the mandatory WPA (WorkPlace Assessment), we check that the workplace is designed in accordance with appropriate health and safety requirements. Moreover, the annual DPA process (Development and Performance Appraisal) provides staff with the opportunity to suggest improvements to both the physical and the psychological working environment. Most important of all, however, is the day-to-day dialogue between staff and managers that can be used to discuss any irregularities.
As part of the company pension scheme, Systematic offers its staff health insurance including the option of an advice service over the telephone in the event of illness, disability, death of a relative, divorce or stress.
We consider the incidence of absence due to illness among our staff to be a good indicator of the level of well-being at the workplace. The lower the rate of absenteeism, the greater the sense of well-being.
