IRIS FORMS SERVER

Automated generation and parsing of messages
When you develop applications that need to exchange and handle structured (formatted) data, there is typically a requirement for a programmatic interface to automate generation or parsing of messages.
The IRIS Forms Server makes this job much easier. It provides a uniform interface for handling different standards, and makes it easy to update to new versions of standards. This reduces the total life cycle cost of the solution.
A cost efficient alternative to bespoke development
The IRIS Forms Server is a cost efficient alternative to developing the necessary capabilities to handle structured data in messaging systems. This is even more the case for systems that must handle several message types and are expected to be updated to keep up with evolving standards during their lifetime.
Language independent APIs
The IRIS Forms Server functionality is exposed through a web server interface, where the APIs permit access to functions such as validate a message, transform slash delimited messages to XML (or vice versa) on the fly, parse messages to extract information or generate messages from a data source to populate the message. The web based API is compatible with most programming languages (such as Java Script, .NET and Java) and is based on efficient JSON encoding of requests and results on top of the HTTP protocol.
