Flagship project

Systematic’s involvement with the water sector is being extended to include an EU-funded flagship project in collaboration with Water Valley Denmark and CLEAN. The water sector needs to access quality-assured and standardised data in order to better develop new digital solutions within the sector and in so doing improve quality, efficiency and sustainability – while providing improved access to innovation through research, education or business collaboration.

The ‘Water Data Space’ project is an explorative study of whether building an actual data space for the open sharing of water data is feasible and, if so, what is the best way of designing it. (“Proof of Concept”).

Use cases

In collaboration with a number of water companies and universities, Systematic has identified and worked with three use cases, where open data sharing could offer a significant advantage.

The three use cases are:

Herning Vand: Automated reporting

Access, herning vand

Aarhus Vand: Detention pond analytics

DHI Denmark: EHS source tracking

Proof of concept with DMI Denmark
