Systematic continues its support for AGF football club
Systematic is right behind AGF as it makes the move to a new home ground. With an extended partnership, we are supporting our local football club’s men’s and women’s teams until summer 2027.
“Although we’ve grown internationally since we started in 1985, we’ve always made a priority of giving something back to the city where we have our roots. Systematic is therefore extensively involved in Aarhus’s cultural and sports life – and thus also in AGF, where we follow the club and its positive development with considerable excitement. AGF is now facing an unsettled time with the building of a new stadium, and during this period it’s important for us to maintain our support,” says Nikolaj Bramsen, CEO of Systematic.
AGF and Systematic have collaborated since 2018, when Systematic helped launch AGF Esport. The new partnership focuses solely on football, where Systematic is not only a gold partner for AGF’s 3F Superliga team, but is also backing AGF women’s football in a joint partnership for the next three years.
“The addition of AGF women’s football is a key aspect of our partnership. It’s important that all Aarhus residents can dream of one day wearing the club’s white jersey on the football pitch – including all the girls and women playing football in Aarhus clubs. This dream also deserves our support,” says Nikolaj Bramsen.
Local roots
Since its beginnings in 1985 in a house in the Aarhus suburb of Risskov, where Systematic was founded by Michael Holm, Systematic has grown to become Denmark’s largest privately owned IT company with revenue of DKK 1.4 billion and 1,100 employees in 11 countries.
Systematic’s headquarters are still in Aarhus, housed in its distinctive office building on Søren Frichs Vej. And it is precisely these roots in Aarhus that are important to Systematic, which over the years has gone out of its way to support the local community.
“AGF is more than just a football club. In many ways, it’s a cultural institution that binds the city through bringing people together through cheering, comradeship and winning. So, even though Systematic’s outlook is international, and we have offices all over the world, we’re proud Danes and residents of Aarhus, and we’re happy to carry on supporting both the men’s and women’s football teams in our local club,” says Nikolaj Bramsen.
