From now on, the Central Denmark Region benefits from an updated version of Systematic’s Columna Clinical Logistics, which makes the preadmission assessment of acute patients at hospitals more efficient. The update includes a new module for preadmission assessment that contains two screens and provides the nurses, who are responsible for the preadmission assessment, with a complete overview by creating a better connection to the electronic health record.
The hospitals in the Central Denmark Region are excited to start using the updated system, thereby, creating better workflows for nurses as well as providing patients with treatment without waiting time.
“We look forward to start using the new system as it is developed to create a more suitable workflow for the nurses, who are responsible for the preadmission assessment. This is why they have been highly involved in the development process. The calls from general practitioners and doctors at the emergency service will be conducted a lot faster now, and it will be easier to book acute appointments in the outpatient department. I expect that everyone will experience significant improvements,” Ole Mølgaard, Chief Surgeon, Aarhus University Hospital, says to the region’s website.
