Safer experiences for patients at hospitals and a streamlining of employee workflows are the key values in the IT solution Columna WayFinding, which the Norwegian region Helse Vest has purchased from Systematic.
1.1 million citizens in the region will benefit from the IT solution, which helps both patients and relatives find their way from their homes to the exact department at a hospital. Likewise, the solution helps the hospital employees navigating between the different departments at the larger hospitals.
The contract with Helse Vest is Systematic’s first within health IT in Norway and the Wayfinding solution is to be implemented at the region’s 25 hospitals. With the sale to Helse Vest, Senior Vice President Henrik Jespersen expects an opening in the opportunities for selling other modules from the Columna Suite to Norway.
“It is a great sale for Systematic, both strategically in regards to getting into a new market, but it also proves that we have some solutions in Denmark that are in high demand within the clinical areas internationally,” Senior Vice President Henrik Jespersen says in an interview with ITWatch.
