About the project

In Systematic, we encourage product reliability, accountability, and innovation and work towards it in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE). Our SREs team contributes to sustainable operation in the Customer Operations department by using software development methods to control the process. We are continuously contributing to expanding our existing SRE unit and helping to shape our future work to optimize, scale, automate, and monitor solutions using modern technologies.

In the Customer Operations department, our colleagues work in a multi-project squad. They serve multiple teams, encompassing various industry sectors such as library and learning, healthcare, defence and renewables.

The Customer Operations department practices are based on the DevOps philosophy. They contribute to the operation of critical systems focusing on stability, robustness and scalability. They ensure the reliable operation of applications for projects across the organization. In other words, they influence shaping our delivery and mindset.

Technologies

  • Cloud solutions and CNAB (Microsoft Azure)
  • Containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, Openshift)
  • Configuration Management tools (Ansible)
  • Scripting languages (Bash, PowerShell)
  • Monitoring and Alerting tools (Prometheus, Grafana)
  • Programming languages (Python, Perl) 
  • ELK/EFK or Splunk
  • Build Management, Deployment, and Release Management Automation, preferably TeamCity (or similar CI engines/solutions, like Jenkins or Bamboo)
  • Linux and Windows administration
