OneWater consolidates data and enables secure sharing, supporting predictive maintenance, cost optimization, and improved service delivery. Its open architecture invites collaboration with other water companies, private partners, universities, and start-ups—creating opportunities for innovation through technologies like machine learning and artificial intelligence. In parallel, Systematic is contributing to the EU-funded Water Data Space flagship project with Water Valley Denmark and CLEAN. This initiative explores how an open data space for the water sector can be designed and implemented, enabling quality-assured, standardized data sharing for research, education, and business collaboration. Three use cases—automated reporting, detention pond analytics, and EHS source tracking—demonstrate the potential impact of open data.
