Sønderborg Municipality rolls out Cura Dialogue to all residents

Following a successful pilot project, Sønderborg Municipality is now rolling out Systematic's digital solution Cura Dialogue across the whole municipality.

From 1 September 2026, residents receiving help or support, along with their relatives, will have easier access to appointments, messages and parts of their care record, directly from a computer, tablet or smartphone.

The solution has run as a pilot project in one area of the municipality since March, and the positive results have paved the way for the rollout across the whole of Sønderborg Municipality.

With Cura Dialogue, residents can:

  • See and cancel upcoming appointments with the municipality

  • Send messages directly to the municipality

  • Follow relevant parts of their care record

  • Get an overview of aids and support

  • Find information about activities in the local area

The solution was developed in close collaboration with both residents and relatives, says Stefan Lydal, Chair of the Social, Senior and Disability Committee in Sønderborg Municipality, in a press release:

“We've worked closely with both residents and relatives to develop a solution that gives people a better overview and greater say over their own situation. When both residents and relatives can follow along digitally, it creates transparency and fewer misunderstandings. That's a benefit for everyone involved.”

More freedom in everyday life

A key part of the solution is that contact with the municipality is no longer tied to specific phone hours. Residents can cancel appointments and update information whenever it suits them.

This gives residents greater influence over their own care pathway, says Deputy Chair Vivi Brit Nielsen (V):

“We know that many residents and families want more flexibility and greater say over their own lives. This platform makes it easier to cancel appointments, update information and stay in direct contact with the municipality, without needing to work around phone hours. For many relatives, it also brings more peace of mind day to day, because they can follow appointments more easily.”

With the resident's consent, relatives can get access to Cura Dialogue and help keep track of appointments and information.

Less admin, more time for care

Sønderborg Municipality also expects benefits for staff. Messages and other communication sent through Cura Dialogue are automatically added to the resident's care record, giving staff less administrative work and more time for contact with residents.
