Talent came from within: Heidi Pedersen is the new GSVP of Systematic Healthcare Operations

Systematic brought in the big guns with headhunters scouring the globe for the perfect candidate. After an extensive search, it became clear that the best suited was already in their midst.

Heidi Pedersen is the new Group Senior Vice President of Systematic’s Healthcare Operations. She steps into the role with nine years of experience in Systematic’s Healthcare business, having contributed to everything from the company’s electronic medical and care records to their new healthcare solution for soldiers, Battlefield Health. In other words, she already knows the tasks, challenges, and opportunities of the field.

“Systematic’s Healthcare business is at a really interesting stage. We’re delivering solid, highly relevant products with real international potential. At the same time, the healthcare sector is evolving; both in Denmark and internationally, we’re seeing exciting new reforms, and there is an increased focus on better integration across different areas of the healthcare system – something that has always been at the core of Systematic. I’m excited to help make sure we stay at the forefront and continue to shape and contribute to this development,” Heidi says.

A proven leader with deep industry insight

There were several great candidates for the position, but according to CEO Nikolaj Bramsen, Heidi stood out because of her exceptional skills in organizational development, process management, and creating an environment where people thrive and perform.

“Heidi was simply the best person for the job, and that’s saying something, given the strong field of candidates.  She has proved herself over nearly a decade and played a key role in making our care record Columna Cura the healthy, profitable project it is today. I have no doubt she’ll bring that same drive to take our entire Healthcare Operations above and beyond,” says CEO Nikolaj Bramsen.

Heidi Pedersen assumed the role as Group Senior Vice President on 1 March 2025.
