Customer Oriented Developer for Defence

The Defence business in Systematic is growing, and we need even more skilled colleagues. We are looking for developers that are passionate about agile development and want to make a difference for our Defence Customers. We are looking for both recent graduates and developers with experience.

The job
As a software developer in Defence, you will be an important part of the daily work of developing high quality IT solutions for our defence customers worldwide. Here, you will apply your technical knowledge and contribute to the development of the solutions in close collaboration with our customers.

The core of your daily work is your Scrum team, which consists of 2-4 talented software developers who work closely together. In addition to the development tasks, you should also expect to travel to the customer sites for installing, configuring and testing the developed software

Your skills and personality

You have a theoretical background as a computer scientist, engineer or similar and you are passionate about applying your technological abilities. Which technologies you will be working will vary depending on the project you will be part of. Because of this, you have the opportunity to work with a wide range of technological solutions and methods, and you are skilled in some of the following technologies

  • Java and/or .NET (C#), Groovy, Scala
  • HTML, CSS, JavaScript (AngularJS, JQuery)
  • SOAP, JSON, REST, HTTP, SSL/TLS, TCP/IP
  • XML, XSD, XSLT
  • jPA, SQL (MSSQL, MySQL, Oracle, Postgres)
  • Object-oriented design and design patterns
  • Test-driven development, profiling, optimisation
  • Continuous integration and deployment, scripting
  • Windows operational system

As a person, you contribute positively to the team dynamic. Furthermore, you have an interest in working close cooperation with our customers both at Systematic and at the customer sites. You are ambitious, outgoing and have the will and the ability to continuously improve and develop yourself.

Finally, you are fluent in written and spoken Danish and English.
