Passionate Tester for Healthcare IT

As tester, you make sure that we keep a high level of quality in our products – and you make a difference for our users.

Today, testing is an integrated part of our development process. Systematic’s model for solution- and quality leadership is developed with the aim to secure that the solution provides the expected business and user value. You are going to work with our product: Columna Service Logistics. The product improves hospitals for patients, visitors and employees by simplifying logistics. Among other things, this is due to the use of a new, innovative task management system for hospital porters, as well as tracking of beds and additional equipment at the hospitals through tracking technologies.

The job
You will participate in planning of, as well as practical execution of test-related tasks. You understand the technical issues and are able to see connections between the problems that occur – and contribute to driving the necessary changes. You are impassioned about software testing and has a solid test-technical foundation. We are ready to support the development of your talents and thus build on the experience and professional testing competences that you already have.

We work agile, and your tasks are solved through the entire development procedure with the development team that you are part of. Additionally, your task will be to spar with and inspire our developers in regards to test throughout the entire development process.

As tester, you will, among other things:

  • Design and execute manual tests
  • Spar with developers on automatic tests to reduce the manual test effort
  • Assist with test expertise throughout the entire development procedure
  • Participate in risk assessments
  • Produce test documentation
  • Participate in planning and execution of system test
  • Work in Scrum-teams with developers
  • Execute test activities

Your skills and personality
If you have a technical educational background, this will be an advantage, but it is not a requirement. The most important aspect for us is that you are able to understand, analyse and communicate about technically complex solutions.

Experience within test tools, test techniques and test automation in software development projects is an advantage as well. At Systematic, the role of testing is an acknowledged career path, and you will get many opportunities to develop, both personally and professionally. Through our internal knowledge networks, you will have the opportunity to find experience exchange, problem solving and education with the other testers at Systematic.

Finally, you speak and write Danish fluently and have a high level of English writing and speaking skills.

Systematic offers
Our IT solutions make it simpler for the users to make critical decisions. In the defence and healthcare sectors, critical decisions often concern matters of life and death. In both the private and the public sector, our solutions must handle large amounts of data, e.g. in the library sector with more than 50 million yearly loans. To be able to continue the development of solutions that customers trust, we continuously challenge each other, our work processes and technologies. We have a highly pro-active education and training policy with defined career paths and internal pro-active Knowledge Networks.

We stay constantly focused on making everything better. Our unique combination of strong principles from CMMI and the best aspects of LEAN and Scrum enable us to develop reliable, high-quality solutions for our customers and to deliver them to the agreed price and deadline. We work in teams, and some of our teams include well-integrated insourced developers.

We prioritise a sensible balance between work and private life, and our agile approach provides you with an excellent opportunity of being able to plan your own tasks and working hours to a great extent. We value social cohesion at the workplace and have a very active staff association.

Because we also work with security classified projects, all Systematic personnel must have security clearance. Learn more at http://systematic.com/clearance.
