FREEDOM IN EVERYDAY LIFE
MoMo gives teaching staff greater freedom in their day-to-day working life. MoMo supports a dynamic environment in which interdisciplinary collaboration and effective planning are in focus.
Planning and preparation of educational courses is a complex task for professional teaching staff. It is important to recognise the need for working with a high degree of complexity.
A core feature of MoMo is therefore to introduce such complexity (when required) in a clear, easy-to-understand way – via a filter search featuring simple, easy-to-recognise graphics, for example.
MoMo frees up teaching staff’s time for actually working with students, because there is no prerequisite that the teaching activities be implemented or documented in MoMo. Using MoMo, the teaching is frameworked with course descriptions, learning objectives and evaluations, while it is entirely up to teaching staff to define how the work with students is to take place.
The basis for effective cooperation lies in availability.
MoMo makes it easy to find your working partners in any teaching/learning context, and an effective rights management system makes it easy to deal with the many users.
The system is designed and configured on the basis of principle that everyone can share everything, provided they have rights to access it. For example, you can invite multiple users – such as students, external consultants and museum educators – to co-edit a course of teaching.
With MoMo, users are free to choose their usual working tools – such as modern file sharing systems – to achieve the best cooperation. The MoMo platform is designed to be open to the use of new tools and technologies, as and when they emerge.
MoMo provides you with an effective digital counterpart to interdisciplinary cooperation and adds value for users via systematisation and effective overviews.
The platform enables users to customise their learning process to make it a good match for each particular situation and context. In MoMo, it is the users who decide which elements to include.
The teacher can freely assign students to each course, and thereby work dynamically with different groups of students and with different group sizes.
In MoMo, the classes and teams can be drawn automatically from the relevant administrative systems, paving the way to fast, effective selections.
If users wish, students can be freely selected from among other students in the same year, the same school and even the same municipality.
MoMo makes it simple to work with dynamic schedules that accommodate modern teaching methods and structures. With MoMo, you can determine the start times and durations of the “lessons” dynamically, and adjust them according to the specific teaching situation and particular local scheduling preferences.
MoMo integrates with other similar scheduling systems that also support dynamic schedules and “lesson” concepts, via the integration with Tabulex, for example.
