Agile cooperation replaces pre-defined specification requirement

Rather than working based on a pre-determined specification of requirement, Systematic works with Klasselotteriet in an agile collaboration.  In this relationship the parties jointly set and adjust requirements for form and functionality during the course of the project.

New lottery application ensures the future

The current lottery system works, but is based on outdated technology. Systematic is taking over responsibility for its maintenance and, in parallel, is developing Klasselotteriet’s new lottery
application.  This will gradually phase out eventually replace and the existing system.

“In selecting Systematic as a partner, it has been extremely important to us that Systematic can take over responsibility for the current lottery application and at the same time design a new, efficient solution that takes its point of departure from our business,” says Klasselotteriet Finance Director Sven Gillesberg. He adds:

“The lottery application is in itself our business – it is our most important employee, working 24/7. We’re certain that together with Systematic we can design and develop our new lottery application and thus future-proof our business.”

Together with Systematic we can future-proof our business.

The right allocation of resources

One of the advantages of the agile collaboration is that Klasselotteriet quickly acquires operational functionality and work is continuously performed on that functionality, which Klasselotteriet considers to be vital in terms of commercial value. This means that resources are not allocated to something that subsequently proves to be of no use to Klasselotteriet.
