Services team eyes global support

As more countries come to Finland and the Baltic States for military operations and exercises, Systematic’s services team stands ready to support a widening userbase.

A recent survey of Systematic users has returned high scores for the work of Systematic’s services team working in Finland and the Baltic States.

A variety of questions and their responses highlighted the high levels of responsiveness of the services team, their professionalism, and ability to understand user needs. Write-in comments from users also showed high customer satisfaction and net promoter scores.

“We are very proud of the feedback that we have received from our customers – it really helps us to understand their pain points, where we are doing well, and what we can do better. It also highlights the overall strength of the services team based in Finland, and our ability to operate with ease in Finland and with customers across the Baltic States,” said Jakob Risbjerg, Systematic Vice President of Defence Services.

“With more countries coming to Finland and the Baltic States on increasingly complex exercises, as well as deployments through multinational operations, we are now finding ourselves drawn into new and exciting support work. This can range from providing training and equipment support, through to developing plugins and drivers rapidly to meet the requirements of our users. In addition to the team based here in Finland, we can also draw on support from other Services teams from around the globe to deliver the support our customers need. We make sure our users get the maximum capability from the SitaWare platform, meeting operational pressures, and reducing any potential downtime or bottlenecks,” Marko Välimäki, Systematic Senior Defence Project Manager said.

“The support for joint operations and interoperability that the SitaWare suite provides can help to smooth the way for successful combined arms operations – ranging from intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance, through to combat and manoeuvre operations. We work closely with our customers, and our staff fundamentally understand the operational pressures, requirements, and needs of a modern fighting force. Our ability to deploy information exchange gateways, integrate new technology, and allow users to share intelligence effortlessly means that militaries can easily operate together and deliver on their mission requirements at pace,” Merja Annala, President of Systematic Oy Finland, added.

Systematic's SitaWare suite provides users with full battlespace awareness through the sharing of common operational pictures, intelligence, video feeds, and more, as well as allowing users to create and distribute plans and orders around a battlegroup. Deployable in headquarters, in vehicles, and on-the-move with mounted and dismounted commanders, SitaWare provides a full-stack digitalisation solution for militaries wanting to move into the digital battlespace for more efficient operations. The commercial-off-the-shelf solution can be rapidly deployed to users as an out-of-the-box solution for command-and-control, intelligence, and joint operations.

SitaWare has been trusted by over 50 users worldwide, including the British Army, NATO, US Army, Australian Army, the German Bundeswehr and Navy, Swiss Armed Forces, and the Italian Army. Systematic’s intelligence support tool, SitaWare Insight, allows users to leverage artificial intelligence (AI) to deliver decision support and workflow optimisation to allow intelligence staff to gain a full understanding of the battlefield, while reducing the burden of time-consuming tasks.
