Faster reporting with Quick Forms

New add-on feature provides SitaWare suite mobile users a fast and intuitive tool to send smaller formatted messages

Systematic continues to innovate its industry leading C4ISR SitaWare suite with the introduction of Quick Forms module - a new messaging add-on module for SitaWare Frontline and SitaWare Edge. Designed for high-stress, time-critical environments, it offers a fast and intuitive way to send smaller formatted messages such as enemy reports or MEDEVAC requests where traditional form-based reporting may be impractical.

“Creating and sending important messages quickly from the tactical edge is vital to mission success,” said Frederikke Holm Jensen, Business Product Manager at Systematic. “Quick Forms enables users to send messages in environments where they may be under pressure, or where typing a full message is made more difficult due to protective equipment.”

Optimized for mobile and touch-based devices

The Quick Forms module features a streamlined interface displaying only essential information and guides users through the process in manageable steps. This decrease in the number of steps required to create and send messages reduces reporting time and minimizes errors.

“With Quick Forms module, we added a lot of features to save time,” Jensen explained. “These include buttons, drop down menus, and positions pickers that work with pre-configured templates to reduce the need for typing and enhance efficiencies, allowing users to work faster and more efficiently.”

Meeting customer needs

The Quick Forms module also addresses a pressing request from current SitaWare users, with dismounted commanders and SitaWare Edge users now also able to use formatted messaging.

“Bringing formatted messaging capabilities to SitaWare Edge users was a frequent request from customers,” said Jesper Annexgaard, Mobile Product Manager at Systematic. “Quick Forms significantly improves the user experience by adapting to mobile constraints and operational urgency.”

Interoperability and faster decision-making

The Quick Forms module supports interoperability by adhering to the ADatP-03 standard. Moreover, it offers customizable templates for NATO APP-11, USMTF, ASMTF, UK-SUPP, and national formats to ensure seamless integration into diverse operational workflows. Quick Forms can be added to SitaWare Frontline and SitaWare Edge to shorten the decision-making process while still providing mission-critical intelligence across the battlespace.
