This course provide instructors with the knowledge and skills to perform the operational end-user training

Course Overview

The purpose of this course is to “train the trainers”. The course will provide the instructors with knowledge and skills to perform the operational end-user training of the Systematic SitaWare system.

The course includes a mix of class lectures, group discussions and a significant number of practical hands-on exercises.

Course Content

  • Practical use of Systematic SitaWare Headquarters and Systematic IRIS Replication Mechanism capabilities in an operational environment
  • Basic introduction of MIP Information Exchange Data Model and replication standards – in a SitaWare context
  • Produce and deliver course material
  • Run and assess course exercises
  • Quality assurance of courses
  • Course summary, questions, evaluation

Skills learned

  • Individual and team-based operational use of SitaWare Headquarters
  • Create, manage and display Situation Awareness, Order of Battle, Task organisation, Plans & Orders info etc.
  • Understand MIP and its standards
  • Operational use IRIS Replication Mechanism to exchange information – using replication contracts
  • Ability to produce and perform operational end-user training

  • SitaWare Headquarters User Training Course material – including all course material, slides and exercises used in the end-user training course
  • SitaWare Headquarters User Training Course instructor material – including all material required by instructors for the delivery of training courses

Systematic retains IPR and copyright of all hand-out material, and it is only to be used for courses delivered by instructors who have successfully completed the course.

  • Basic instructor skills
  • A good understanding of Microsoft Windows (User Interface and OS)
  • A basic understanding of military C2 methodology
