Systematic exhibits at Romanian Defence exercise
Systematic was proud to present our pioneering defence C4ISR solutions at the recent CETATEA 2023 exercise in Romania. On the event’s sidelines, we presented the #SitaWareSuite to both industry and distinguished visitors, receiving feedback from a number of users about how much they loved using our software.
The annual exercise brings together a wide variety of nations to see how they perform on coalition operations – testing the communication and IT systems to prove their interoperability across domains and national networks.
The exercise even added a cyber element to add further challenges for participants, which included representatives from the Romanian Ministry of National Defence and numerous other government agencies, as well as NATO and non-NATO allies.
More than 50 nations worldwide use the SitaWare suite as their battle management system - including 18 NATO nations. Systematic is proud to support customers wherever they may be – in a headquarters or on exercise – so that we can see the challenges they face and discover ways to make their lives easier.
When asked about his experience presenting our software at the event, Senior Solution Engineer Florin Preda said: “Systematic is registered as a defence industry company in Romania. Hence, it’s not a surprise we were invited by the Ministry of Defence to showcase our software products and discuss the newest technologies used in the industry.
"We received the opportunity to present our SitaWare Suite and show how we have implemented AI and other technologies into the C4I software products. We engaged in discussions both with IT software development officers as well as high-ranking generals, and hearing feedback like ‘you have a technologically advanced software suite’ from such guests is highly rewarding.”
