Systematic supports Royal Thai Army, US Army in Exercise Hanuman Guardian 2025
Mounted and dismounted C4I exercise culminates in combined arms live fire exercise
Teams from Systematic’s Denmark and Australian offices recently deployed to support the annual bilateral combined arms exercise Hanuman Guardian 25 in Thailand.

Working with our partners DRS Technologies and Chaiseri, Hanuman Guardian 25 involved Stryker armoured fighting vehicles of the Royal Thai Army and US Army performing a variety of manoeuvre drills. These exercises were to demonstrate the power of mounted and dismounted C4I battle management systems, as well as the integration of unmanned systems into the modern command environment. The exercise culminated in three live fire runs by the Stryker units, including mounted infantry assaulting with fire support.
The exercise saw the deployment of SitaWare Frontline into the Stryker vehicles to provide mounted situational awareness to vehicle commanders, while troops used the SitaWare Edge when dismounted to provide and receive intelligence, plans and orders, and sensor data.
“Exercise Hanuman Guardian 25 was a fantastic opportunity to demonstrate a wide array of the SitaWare suite’s capabilities in the manoeuvre environment,” said Systematic Senior Solution Engineer Andrew Reardon.
“The seamless working together of users undertaking a variety of tasks – from planning through to dismounted assault – showed that SitaWare can deliver intelligence and situational awareness to all. This is particularly important for bilateral exercises like Hanuman Guardian, which help to reinforce best practices and operational capabilities,” Reardon added.

Deploying an array of SitaWare products
Systematic’s SitaWare Frontline is a vehicle-mounted battle management solution that integrates and leverages the intelligence from vehicle-borne sensors and sub-systems. SitaWare Frontline features a wide range of geo-tools and mission management functions, bringing an operational advantage for mounted commanders at the tactical level.
SitaWare Edge is the SitaWare suite’s dismounted soldier battlespace awareness and management capability. Providing superior command-and-control operations for the dismounted commander, SitaWare Edge allows the easy sharing and delivery of battlefield intelligence, plans and orders, and enhanced safety for those at the tip of the spear. Using an Android device, SitaWare Edge can be easily deployed on a wide array of hardware devices.
Both SitaWare Frontline and SitaWare Edge utilise the SitaWare Tactical Communication (STC) protocols to deliver information and intelligence around the battlespace. STC is also able to operate under denied, degraded, intermittent, and limited (DDIL) conditions, ensuring that messages get through to users under all conditions.
