Video: SitaWare BattleCloud
In the chaos of modern conflict, even seconds count. That delay can mean the difference between mission success and failure. Introducing SitaWare BattleCloud, the new service offering from Systematic Defence: A cloud-based solution that addresses this challenge head-on by bringing the full power of SitaWare Headquarters and SitaWare Insight into a more accessible, cloud-enabled environment.

Key benefits
As an optional cloud-based addition to the SitaWare Suite, SitaWare BattleCloud extends the power of your on-premises SitaWare installation with a cloud-based addition – providing unmatched flexibility and scalability on the battlespace.
However, SitaWare BattleCloud offers more than just connectivity. It delivers decision superiority from the cloud to the edge, preserving the technological and ethical advantage that modern militaries depend on.
Incorporating SitaWare BattleCloud into your C4ISR setup will, among others, bring the following benefits:
Understanding SitaWare BattleCloud: Key questions answered
Below you will find answers to frequently asked questions about SitaWare BattleCloud and its support for modern defence operations.
As militaries increasingly rely on software as a force multiplier, the way it is delivered is crucial. By offering SitaWare as a cloud service, we align with our users’ evolving operational needs – while still supporting on-premises deployments.
To meet the diverse needs of our users, SitaWare BattleCloud is being developed as a vendor-neutral solution. This ensures it can be deployed across a wide range of cloud environments – including public, private, government-owned, and localised platforms, providing the flexibility and adaptability modern defence organisations require.
Cloud computing technologies allow for the rapid scaling of users and data delivery. In data delivery, complex or processor-intensive work – such as high-end graphics rendering and AI work – can be sent to data centres with greater processing capacity. This then frees up a device’s memory for other functions.
The DevOps approach to SitaWare BattleCloud will mean that new modules and capabilities – such as the SitaWare Fire Support module and SitaWare CBRN module – can be enabled rapidly for users. Additionally, the open architecture design means that user-developed add-ons can be enabled or disabled quickly.
SitaWare BattleCloud can be scaled as user requirements demand. It can be used in environments where the entire BMS and C4ISR work is performed in the cloud, where certain aspects of work are undertaken in the cloud, or for simply managing and distributing software to client devices.
