At Systematic, our vision is to create a coherent healthcare system through digitalisation and open IT solutions that unite hospital staff, doctors, municipal care, service employees and citizens throughout the patient journey.
Our IT ecosystem for realising this vision is called Open Columna, which strengthens data sharing between sectors through an open approach, and we believe this is best solved through cooperation between industry and the public authorities.
Common ground for smarter healthcare IT
Using international standards such as HL7, FHIR and an ‘API-first’ approach, a common ground is created for innovative health IT. This ensures better data quality, increases patient safety and promotes constructive collaboration.
Introduction to APIs
A wide range of healthcare partners, such as hospitals and municipalities, use the Columna ecosystem, which makes it easier to create and introduce new solutions together with third-party vendors. Our open ecosystem is based on recognised design principles and provides regions and municipalities with optimum conditions to innovate and create coherent solutions.
The open APIs for the Columna product portfolio – Columna Cura, Columna CIS and Columna Flow – are based on international standards. They make integration more manageable, and reduce barriers to entry to existing IT solutions in regional, municipal and private healthcare.
This makes efficient integrations easier and reduces development time, increasing the commercial potential of innovative projects and partner collaboration.
