Board of Directors

Michael Holm founded Systematic in 1985 and served as CEO until 2023. He now acts as Executive Chairman with a focus on strategy and internationalisation and serves on several boards – including Energinet, Copenhagen Airports A/S, and the Salling Foundation.

Lars became a member of the Board of Directors in 2016. He was born in 1960. Lars is the former CEO of KMD A/S and is Chairman of the Board of NTI, netIP, Kvadras A/S, Vipp, and Nordix Cloud Technologies, as well as Member of the Board of KRING.

Helle became a member of the Board of Directors in 2020. She was born in 1978 and holds a MSc in Business Economics and Auditing from Aarhus University (2006). Helle is Senior Vice President, Gas & Power Trading at Equinor in Norway. She is Chairman of the Board of Danske Commodities, and a member of the Board of Directors of Ramboll and of ARoS.

Morten became a member of the Board of Directors in 2025. He was born in 1973 and holds an MA in Political Science from the University of Copenhagen. He has served as Permanent Secretary at both the Danish Ministry of Defence and the Ministry of Climate, Energy and Utilities. Since leaving the civil service, Morten has been a Partner at Implement Consulting Group.

Christina Balis joined the Board of Directors in 2024. She is Strategic Campaigns Director within the UK Government & Defence business of KBR, a provider of science, technology and engineering solutions to governments and companies worldwide. Previously, Christina held positions as Global Campaign Director at QinetiQ in Farnborough, UK, Head of European Operations at Avascent in Paris, France, and Vice President for Strategy and Corporate Development at Serco Inc. in Reston, VA, USA. Christina was born in 1976 and holds an MA and a PhD in International Relations from Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies.

Pernille was chosen as a member of the Board of Directors in 2022. She was born in 1979 and holds an MA in history and psychology. She joined Systematic’s People & Culture department (P&C) in 2018 and has since then worked with and across the company’s business units. Pernille is currently Lead P&C Business Partner, responsible for personnel matters in Healthcare and Finance.

Allan was chosen as a member of the Board of Directors in 2022. He was born in 1963 and trained as a machine operator at Odense Staalskibsværft and as a process operator at the company formerly known as Maersk Oil. He worked offshore in the North Sea until 2004, where he became Facility Manager at Systematic.
