Systematic recruits experienced healthcare profile for municipal initiative
Following the withdrawal of one provider from the competition for municipal electronic care record systems Systematic remains on course and is stepping up its efforts in Norway. The company has now appointed Camilla Lobben to lead this initiative focused on municipal tenders.
The municipal tenders are well underway, and Systematic is strengthening its focus on Norwegian municipalities by appointing healthcare professional Camilla Lobben as Sales Director for Systematic Healthcare in Norway. Lobben joins from her role as Head of ISP Sales at Tellu.
With more than 25 years of experience in the Norwegian healthcare sector, Camilla Lobben brings a rare combination of clinical practice, municipal leadership and commercial insight to her new role at Systematic.
"We are in the midst of a major digital shift in Norway, and I am highly motivated to work closely with the municipalities to make it succeed. When I see a solution that can create value in practice, I want to help ensure that as many people as possible become aware of it and, not least, adopt it. I believe that Systematic's Cura solution has what it takes to become an important tool for care services in the years ahead," says Camilla Lobben.
Camilla Lobben trained as a nurse and has extensive knowledge of day-to-day life in the health service. She has held a management role in health and care services in Kongsberg Municipality and later sold health technology to municipalities and public-sector organisations at Tellu and NetNordic. As Managing Director of the Response Centre for the Kongsberg Region, she led the procurement and implementation of welfare technology across eight municipalities, with responsibility for ensuring that the solutions worked in practice.
"Record systems are at the core of healthcare work and form the foundation that enables healthcare professionals to do their jobs. When record systems lead to duplicate documentation and additional work because functionality is fragmented, they do not work in practice. The systems that work are those where everything can be done in one place, that are intuitive to use and that support staff workflows," Camilla explains.
To strengthen the long-term position
As Sales Director, Camilla Lobben will be responsible for driving and developing sales of Systematic's healthcare solutions in the Norwegian market, as well as building relationships with municipalities and key stakeholders in the sector.
"We have been looking for someone who understands the realities of the Norwegian municipal sector from the inside, not someone who needs to learn them. You can be a skilled salesperson, but in this sector that is not enough. You need to understand the day-to-day work of those who will actually use the solutions, and what is required for them to create value in practice. Camilla has that understanding. I am convinced that together we can build Systematic further in Norway," says Brian Fisker, Director at Systematic Healthcare.
Camilla Lobben will work closely with her new colleagues at Systematic as the initiative continues. The company has more than 20 years of experience in municipal healthcare IT and offers a proven solution used in nearly half of Danish municipalities.
The appointment also underscores the company's ambitions in Norway:
"We are here to stay, and we mean it when we say that we want to contribute to the Norwegian healthcare system. We are making long-term investments in Norway with local, experienced people because we believe that is how you create the best solutions and the strongest partnerships," says Fisker.
Camilla Lobben took up the position on 1 April.
