As a modern Electronic Care Record, Columna Cura is designed to connect with a wide range of external systems, interfaces, and partners. The Cura Ecosystem is the name for Cura's open API, which creates the foundation for coherence and value for municipalities and other Cura customers - across external systems and suppliers.
All Cura functions and data are available through open, standardised interfaces, forming the basis for continuous development across health, care, and social services.
Cura's consolidated services are data services built on the international HL7 FHIR standard. FHIR resources in Cura are accessible via data services that enable both reading and writing of data for example, reading case records in a citizen's journal or creating appointments in a citizen's care plan.
Through the open API, a third-party solution can access exactly the same data model used by Cura's own clients.
Business model
An integration with the Cura Ecosystem is a collaboration between three parties:

The business model is designed to make it easy to get started as a third party. By signing a connection agreement with Systematic, you gain access to documentation and a sandbox environment. Where an integration increases the complexity and/or operational load on Cura, the municipality pays a monthly supplement to the service fee.
Pricing is calculated based on the complexity of the integration relative to the number of citizens in the municipality. This serves as a starting point - individual municipalities may have different terms in their respective contracts, and volume discounts are available for multiple connections.
Integrations for the ecosystem
Secure integration between Cura and SIEM
ADO Security has developed a solution for secure transport of Cura logs to municipalities' SIEM or Log Management systems. Municipalities get a purpose-built product for secure and efficient compliance monitoring, real-time alerting, and reporting via ADO's compliance use case catalogue for Cura. Data is protected in transit so it can be safely analysed in the municipality's SIEM system, and relevant use cases can be implemented directly on the existing platform.
Digital lock systems
The bekey integration is used to order the installation and removal of bekey lock systems at citizens' homes. The order itself is placed outside Cura, but the status of the order can be followed as an Observation in Cura.
Preventing dehydration in elderly citizens
The integration allows drinking data collected from the municipality's Aquatime glasses to be created as observations in Cura. By providing insight into an elderly citizen's drinking patterns, fluid intake can be documented, dehydration prevented, and citizens motivated towards a better quality of life. Drinking data is uploaded continuously as it is collected.
Digital medication management
CareConsult delivers digital medication management solutions that free up time for healthcare staff and improve patient safety. One IT solution supports multiple welfare technologies, and the solution is already installed in many Danish municipalities and integrates with Electronic Care Records. FlexSuite is part of TIM — a total solution for intelligent medication management.
AI documentation directly in Cura
Carelog is an AI documentation tool for health and social care. The staff member records the visit on their phone, and seconds later the journal entry is sent directly into Cura, in the right places. In practice, staff save more than 30 minutes a day, with better documentation and more time for citizens.
Data-driven insight and smarter municipal operations
Case By Case is an innovative process mining platform that helps municipalities optimise workflows, create overview, and free up resources. The platform combines Cura data with workflows and processes in one digital tool, making it easier to deliver better and more efficient citizen services.

Through a close integration with Cura, Clex offers an intelligent keyboard that helps care staff document correctly and efficiently directly in the fields where they work. The solution adapts to the municipality's own standards and professional terminology, ensuring higher quality in journal documentation.

Coco Care is a digital training and rehabilitation platform that supports home-based exercise, monitoring, and automatic documentation. The integration with Cura gives clinicians ongoing insight into citizen pathways and reduces manual documentation.
Route planning for home and district nursing
Deloitte Plans is an advanced operational tool that optimises daily route planning for mobile staff in home and district nursing. Deloitte Plans ensures that staff spend less time on travel and more time providing care to citizens.
Strength training and fall prevention for elderly citizens
DigiRehab offers systematic strength training for elderly citizens with documented effect - 10 hours of training frees up an average of more than 80 hours of home care. The Detect module identifies citizens at increased risk of falls and loss of function, so interventions can be prioritised early. Integrated with Cura.
Identity and access management
Digital Identity delivers three integrations with Cura. The first retrieves master data from OS2sofd and permissions from OS2rollekatalog, automatically maintaining them as users, units, and roles in Cura. The second synchronises organisational structure and users from Cura to Appinux. The third is an access management module where the municipality sets up external suppliers and templates, allowing suppliers to manage their own users - for example, temporary staff.
Resource management, meeting booking, and self-service
WorkForce Planner (WFP) is a platform for resource management, meeting booking, self-service, and communication across municipal departments. WFP provides an overview of staff and facilities, synchronises with Outlook, sends automatic notifications by letter, email, or SMS and brings all of a citizen's appointments together in one place.
Reading and writing assistance in Cura

Training programmes delivered directly to citizens
A training programme, in the form of a PDF file linked to a patient, is sent from ExorLive to Cura when it is saved and signed in ExorLive. This happens when the physiotherapist clicks the "Sign" button in ExorLive, at which point it is exported as a PDF via an API call from ExorLive to Cura. The training programme is personal to the individual patient. A training programme cannot be modified, but a patient can receive multiple training programmes.
Appointment and queue management for citizen flow
FrontDesk delivers an advanced appointment and queue management system that helps public and private organisations manage citizen and customer flow, reduce waiting times, and create more efficient workflows.
Visual citizen overviews for handovers and meetings
InCare automatically organises citizen documentation from Cura into simple visual overviews that support staff during citizen conferences, triage and whiteboard meetings, and shift handovers. The solution promotes cross-disciplinary reflection, faster decision-making, and early, targeted interventions.
Phone robot that handles citizen enquiries
InDialog.ai's phone robot helps citizens quickly and easily get information about home care visits. Using AI, speech recognition, and integration with the Cura ecosystem, citizens can call and get an immediate answer - with no waiting time, no keypad menus, and no need to speak with a staff member. The solution is particularly valuable for elderly citizens and their families, and frees up time for home care staff.
Automatic monitoring of access to personal data
Innofactor delivers digitalisation and cloud solutions with a focus on Microsoft technologies. Innolog is a specialist solution for automatic monitoring of access to personal data, primarily in the health and public sector. The solution analyses log data and identifies irregular or unauthorised access, enabling organisations to detect and respond to potential misuse. Innolog is GDPR compliant and gives security officers a consolidated overview of data access.
Shared calendar for families and staff
The Kintella integration with Cura bridges families and municipal staff. The tool gives both parties access to a shared calendar where appointments and visits can be booked, and allows families to contribute directly. Data from Kintella Care is passed through to Cura, so staff see it alongside the citizen's other information.
Automatic transfer of measurements to Cura
With Levvel Borger, measurements such as blood pressure, temperature, and oxygen saturation are automatically transferred from wireless monitoring devices to Cura. Risk scores are calculated and documented automatically, and a colour-coded overview helps staff quickly assess a citizen's condition and act in time.
Data-driven sensor solutions for the care sector
Nemlia delivers data-driven sensor solutions for the care sector that support a more proactive and targeted approach. The solution discretely monitors residents' environment and identifies early signs of risk, so staff can act before situations escalate. By reducing unnecessary check-ins and creating better overview, Nemlia contributes to greater security for residents and improved workflows for staff.

pcdKøkken is an administrative system used in production kitchens for managing production, orders from citizens and departments, and distribution. The interface with Cura ensures that the pcdKøkken system is always up to date with the latest information from Columna Cura: master data on citizens referred to meal services, services and referrals, and observations.
