Cicero Surf

The library’s web interface

Cicero Surf is an integrated part of Cicero that extends the library’s presence beyond its physical walls. Where Cicero manages the daily operations behind the scenes, Cicero Surf is what library users see and interact with directly, whether in the library, on the go, or at home. It is available to all libraries using Cicero, and is particularly widely used by school libraries and smaller public libraries.

With Cicero Surf, users can search the catalogue, place holds, manage their account and access the library's digital content. They can log in through Single Sign-On or username and pin code, and search and reserve items at collaborating libraries as well as their own.

A portal that feels like your library

Cicero Surf can be customised with the library's own colours, logo and curated content, so it feels like a natural extension of the library. Libraries can promote materials, highlight collections and curate content that reflects their local community.

Built for every type of library

Cicero Surf works for both public and school libraries. When used in school libraries, it includes a booking feature that lets teachers reserve class sets of materials directly for a specific course period.
