Eight Greater Copenhagen municipalities extend their Cura partnership
Systematic has won the Greater Copenhagen Digitalisation Association (DSD) tender for a care record solution covering elderly care, healthcare, and social care in eight municipalities. This renewal extends a long-standing partnership on Columna Cura across these municipalities, which together are home to more than 300,000 residents.
The decision is the result of a thorough market dialogue followed by a formal EU tender. Four suppliers took part initially, and in the final round Systematic faced competition from two other companies.
The result and the evaluation confirm that Columna Cura remains the care record solution best suited to the municipalities’ needs.
AI development and automated workflows included
In the tender, the municipalities placed particular emphasis on a future-proof, modern solution, seen both from the user’s perspective and in light of technological developments. It also required the system to remain current and relevant throughout the contract period.
Cura has delivered on this and will keep doing so. That means ongoing development of its AI support and a continued focus on helping municipal staff work across professional groups and organisations.
The municipalities can use Cura’s latest AI features, such as automated route planning. This improves the working day for both planners and mobile care staff by suggesting the most efficient way to complete the day’s visits to residents. They will also benefit from forthcoming support for speech recognition and AI summaries, which will help staff document more quickly and accurately and keep up to date with each resident’s situation.
He underlines that winning the contract confirms that Cura is the leading solution in Denmark, and that Systematic, as a supplier, can develop and adapt the solution together with our municipalities so that it remains relevant and appealing,
The agreement strengthens Systematic’s position as the preferred choice in its core Danish market. It sends a clear signal that Cura is taking municipalities into the digital future at a time of major reform and technological change across municipal elderly care, healthcare, and social care.
That signal is also attracting interest in Norway, where Systematic is bidding for several municipal tenders with Cura.
